Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you to Bari, Italy for the World Congress of Gynecologic Endoscopy – 17thAnnual Congress of the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy and SEGI Annual meeting which will be held in Bari from June 4th to 7th 2008. Bari is the second most important city of the southern Italy and has one of the largest universities of the country. It has been natural hub for both trade and cultural exchange between the east and the west for centuries. The University of Bari has always supported activities in the field of Gynecologic Endoscopy thus becoming one of the International Reference Centers for this area.
Gynaecologic Endoscopy is not a new medical field and many conferences have been organized and solutions and answers have been found for a number of topics while others are still being debated. The Bari Meeting will focus on the few areas that are still under discussion and on the technological advances in the field. A key part of the Congress will be the numerous live surgery sessions scheduled during the three days of the Congress with leading International experts.
During the pre-congress activities attendants will have the opportunity to share their experience with experts and a dedicated one-day congress will be organized for nurses.
This meeting will also be an occasion for you to taste the typical cuisine of the area and become acquainted with architectural heritage and natural beauties of Apulia, a land known for the warmth of its friendly people and mild climate.
