ISGE 2008 - World Congress of Gynecologic Endoscopy

We invite you to submit abstracts according to the following guidelines:

• Submit the attached abstract form by March 30 2008 by e-mail to info@cicsud.it . All submissions will be acknowledged as soon as possible on receipt.
   
• Abstracts shall be submitted in English, and the presentation of all papers, posters or workshops shall also be in English.
   

ABSTRACTS

• abstracts should not exceed 500 characters (spaces excluded)
   
• specific objective(s) of study or project, methods and results should be stated but tables, diagrams and footnotes should be avoided;
   
• submissions may report original research, project development /evaluation, practice applications or position papers, but should always be related to the main theme or the subthemes of the congress.
   

THE FOLLOWING FORMAT SHOULD BE USED

• Font Arial, Times New Roman or equivalent, size 11 point and one single spacing;
   
• type the title of presentation in capital letters;
   
• indicate the preferred form of presentation: oral paper presentation, poster presentation or video presentation;
   
• type name(s) of author(s) preceded by initials: omit titles, degrees, etc., and underline only the main presenter;
   
• for correspondence type private post-mail address, e-mail address, and phone-fax number of main presenter, or type name of institution, post-mail address, e-mail address, and phone-fax number where the main presenter is working, and restrict to one correspondence address only.
   

Authors will be notified about the final decision by April, 21 2008 and, in the case of acceptance, will also be informed of time, date and allocation of presentation.
Submission of an abstract implies registration for the full conference, and acceptance of the final decision about method and allocation of presentation by the Scientific Secretariat, and no further correspondence will be entered into. Authors are required to register before.


ORAL PRESENTATIONS

• The allotted time for oral presentations is 10 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion. The official language of the Congress is English.
   
• Presentation shall be handed into the slide center at the Congress venue during the session prior to your presentation at the latest.
   
• Presentation of accepted communications will be subject to payment of the registration fee.

  POSTER SESSIONS

• Authors will put up their posters (h 120 cm x w 90 cm) on the assigned panel in the poster area on 05/06/2008 from 09:30 am and will remove them on 7/06/2008 at 1:30 pm.
   
• Authors are requested to be present for discussion on the date of the assigned session.
   
• Presentations of accepted posters will be subject to payment of the registration fee.
